Slightest touch

I just read this from a press release by the makers of slightesttouch.

“As these signals gently stimulate a woman’s sexual nerve pathway, the Slightest Touch® takes the woman to a pre-orgasmic plateau - and dangles her at the edge of orgasm for as long as she desires.”

If I ever find a woman into T&D I’ll definately be getting one of these.

My 2 cents--I'm a skeptic

My take on this is "don't believe everything you read." I've looked at this thing and had a few discussions about it elsewhere and I've read all their "press releases" and "testamonials" and my opinion (just opinion--I haven't personally tested this thing) is that this is essentially a sham. A device that attaches electric leads to her ankles and results in increased sexual sensitivity? Fails the test of anatomic/physiologic plausibility.

"When I showed up at work today, everybody was asking me, 'What happened?' I couldn't figure it out at first, then one girl said, 'Are you pregnant?' and I said, 'No, why would you think that?' and she said, 'Because you have such a glow about you!' So I told her about the Slightest Touch.

This has been the most amazing experience! I am just flabbergasted! It's everything it said it would be and so much more! I'm in sales and we are on a really difficult program today, and our boss wanted us to make more than five sales. Well, I easily quadrupled my quota while everyone else struggled to get just three or four! I really attribute it to this glow that I had on from using my Slightest Touch! I really appreciate your product! Thank you so much! If you ever want to use this testimonial, feel free to do so!"

I'd say "you can't make this stuff up," except that apperently, someone did. With stuff like this these guys could cause a world wide excalamtion point shortage!!!!

Re: My 2 cents

Yeah, I was little bit skeptical about it. On the other hand, it seems to operate a little bit like a TENS unit, so maybe it would do something for some people. The foot/ankle positions of the electrodes seemed a little suspect to me.

It's a lot of money to risk for what's probably a fairly high likelihood of disappointment. But who knows?

Anyone here had any experience with this thing?

TV show

I saw this used on 7 women on a TVshow for just 10 mins, they werent advertising the thing cos they were even careful not to mention or show the name, 1 of the women seemed thoroughly bored, the other six went quite red and when asked to describe it the word frustrating came up several times.

Im pretty confident that it does work although how close to the edge it goes is something to be discovered.

And putting it on the ankles makes perfect sense to me.

re: TV show

Intriguing. . . I'd certainly be personally overjoyed to discover such an effect but of course as the skeptic I've revealed myself to be I rarely trust TV spots--they are uniformly promotional and rarely does a show trash a guest--it's very bad for business (i.e., attracting future guests). I guess I'm just distrusstful that way, especially of media.

What I wanted to comment on, though, was the source of my cynisism about the business about the ankles as a lead placement. I'm a physician, though by no means an expert in electrophysiology etc. What does not seem intuitive of biologically plausible to me is the assertion that there is any reason why impulses would find a track from one ankle to the other that resulted in arousal through the genitals. OTOH, given that sexual arousal is probably 90% or more mental, suggestibility is a huge confounding variable. I knew a guy in college who claimed telepathic powers and offered to demonstrate on his GF. He told her he was going to tease her with his mind and stared at her intently, focussed on arousing her. Sure enough, she got squirmy and giggly and asked him to stop. She was flustered. So one question is--did the women in question know the purpose of the device? If so, the demonstration is much less valuable IMO.

Don't take offense at my cynisism. I'd actually like to be convinced. . .

I have received an email from one person who bought it, btw, and found it useless.

BTW--what was that TV show? Any clips available?

Hmmmmmmm. . . ?

Ok--found some reviews. I think maybe I read the clitical.com review in the past but somehow I don't fully recall. I've often read their reviews of stuff--I find them pretty useful, though I can't recall her reviewing a toy she didn't like--I have no idea of whether she receives anything for her reviews but if so, perhaps my standard of a bad review being bad for business is a legitimate concern.

Anyway, here's a detailed, and quite positive, review: http://www.clitical.com/sex-toy-reviews/misc-adult-product-reviews/slightest-touch-review.php

I just don't know. . . . . .

reretv

Im pretty sure the TV show wasn't promoting it, they didn't mention the brand or name or even show the product at all, I just figured out what it was from the description. Im no physician but if you wanted to stimulate the nervous system with a circuit running through the groin where else would you put the electrodes than on the ankles?

Earlier on the show the particiants had been made very aware of the effectiveness of fakes, I seem to remember that they had been told of the intention of the device, but that wouldnt make them actually imagine a pulsing sensation. Like I said im pretty covinced that the device works, but I am very suspicious of their definition of the edge of orgasm.

The earlier fake aphrodisiac had made them say they felt horny, but this one had much more teasing effects, like I said almost all of them decribed it as frustrating and one said 'Ohhhh, it reall makes you just want to run to your room and masturbate doesn't it?' which was greeted with a chorus of yess.

It was on C4 (British TV) earlier this year, called 'the truth about female desire' I think. I don't know of any clips, but I havent looked. I'll let you know If I find any.

I know two things about elect

I know two things about electrical play, jack and s**t. That having been said, I'd treat this thing as basically an electrical toy and go from there. I have no idea what it will or won't do, but if I was going to buy an electrical toy (And I'm not. For one thing, they seem to be really spendy, and I seem to stay about semi broke all the time)I'd do a lot of research and comparison shopping, and I would NOT go by the claims of one particular manufacturer.

As for putting leads on the ankles, I think the whole body is an erogenous zone. So who knows?

And definitely be careful.

Just my uninformed opinion.

Long time lurker, first time

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I had stumbled across a video of a woman using this device. The video was laid out with an opening slate making it look like a clinical style study of the device. It appeared that the device took her from 0-60 fairly quickly, and the guy playing with her put her over the edge with little stimulation.

As far as electrodes on the ankles causing this effect, it makes sense to me just based off the number of nerves that end in the foot area and their proximity to the pubic area. Looking at a diagram of the nerves that run through that area shows them running through the inside of the thigh bone and connecting to the spine just above the tail bone. Granted I dont know know much about the nervous system either, but I've seen what effect a TENS system has on both men and women, so I wouldnt be surprised.

I suppose I shouldn't complain too much about you teasing us on a ite like this, but got any leads to where this video is?

On my HDD! Eye-wink

Aside from there, download with caution. I got it back in the day when you didnt have to fear spyware or virus infection from using p2p clients. "sex therapist video 01" is what you want to search for. I happened upon it when looking for sybian videos which is listed in the title but not related to the video.

A favor?

Any chance you could create a Yahoo briefcase (briefcase.yahoo.com) and place it in a shared folder where it could be accessed for a while?
